🎙️ In episode 4 of the Franklin Factor Podcast, hosts Sarah Savard and Danielle Weiss explore four areas of Greater Houston where buyers can find value beyond headline suburbs like Katy, The Woodlands, Pearland, and Galveston.
They highlight Magnolia and Conroe on the north side for their growth, proximity to The Woodlands, larger lots, and typically lower Montgomery County taxes, making them appealing to families and remote workers. On the west side, Fulshear and Brookshire are positioned as Katy overflow, offering new construction, master-planned amenities, and strong access via I-10 and Westpark, though retail is still developing farther out. South of Pearland, Manvel and Iowa Colony stand out for newer homes, developing schools, easier access to the Medical Center, and options for acreage or fewer restrictions. Near the bay, Kemah and Dickinson offer a water-oriented lifestyle, proximity to NASA and the Space Center, and often lower costs than Galveston.
